Hello! We live in a world groomed by politics which is indispensable. In the video of the poem, ‘POLITICS’, one can understand how deep rooted politics is in this world.
The religion of politics is power, It keeps the mental door ajar, To let all kindly evil creep in, It frauds the tongue twisting morals, Its eyes glisten to taste the laurels, Crave for power is the seed of poverty, Ego creeps, ducks down honesty. People are ruled by half lies, Rules are made for price.
A twisted tree has many fangs, And coils itself into several bands, It fixes in the earth for power, It cannot be cut for it is crooked, People ride into politics crumpled.
Thank you for listening. Do you think common man has any role to play in politics? I would like your comment. I come again with another poem from ‘Serenading Poems Part Two’. Till then, goodbye.
